Project B Celebration: Dance Workshops (Ages 8-17)
Celebrate with the RAD and friends this Easter, with a weekend focusing on boys and men in dance.
We’re inviting male-identifying dancers and their families to enjoy a variety of workshops at the Royal Academy of Dance headquarters on Sunday 7 April.
Be inspired by our fantastic line-up of male faculty – try out different dance styles and develop your technique and confidence.
Workshops include:

- Body Percussion
- Creative and contemporary dance with a guest artist from our friends at The Place
- Hip Hop
- Street dance
The wider weekend celebrations include a Boys Dance Competition including guest performances, a panel talk, CPD for teachers and a Men and Dance photo exhibition. You can enter your photos to be exhibited at the RAD and in our online gallery.
Walk-in-places for the workshops are subject to availability, book online in advance to secure your place!

Start the day with a 20-minute Body Percussion introduction – get stomping in this lively session with The Beat Goes On, for £2.50 per person.
10.00-10.20: Session 1
10.25-10.45: Session 2
10.50-11.10: Session 3
11.30-12.30: Faculty Q&A and talk
Join Project B Ambassador Iain Mackay and Competition coach Josh Tuifua (plus other guests) as they discuss their personal dance journeys, their experiences with Project B and what the future holds.
